Hmmm… it wasn’t loud this time around. It wasn’t one of those bang-bang weekends. The goals were few. Teams sweated for it. Some got lucky. Football thought to itself: ‘Maybe I’m spoiling this people. The goals are too much. Let it be about Football this time around, Let it be a real fight…’ And so it was. We still loved it though.

1. Congratulations Manchester City, we really saw the spirit and play of a champion. Against all odds, you stood, 3 points you got. Huddersfield thought they could do the Manchester thing, win the Manchester clubs. They really tried. United fans around were so hoping Huddersfied wins it. But Sterling was amazing, City is amazing. They dazzled on, we saw the confidence. They were not scared like we see some teams fret. They were on, doing their thing. Guardiola dared, pulled out Kompany, brought in Jesus. In the end, Jesus had a hand in their goal. Game was won. They keep telling everyone why they should be Champions.

2. Oh no Barcelona dropped points, rivals won. Perfect as it was a draw, Valencia didn’t go far, Barcelona’s deficit was reduced. LOL… For a moment, it was like Barcelona came alive. That perfect assist from Messi seemed to want to inspire more. But no… Rivals won.

3. Like Atletico sang the bang song for yesterday, Juventus sang for today. It was difficult everywhere. Even PSG couldn’t do their thing. When they went 2 goals up, we thought, oh, the bang is on. But Monaco pulled one back and that was it. The team of the day for us is Man City… the shine of the day, Juventus.

4. Arsenal is the luckiest team of the day. OMG… they always do this to Burnley. Burnley holds them, but dying minutes, seconds they win. Hmmm… how difficult to play that kind of penalty. But Sanchez did well. Respect to Sanchez.

5. It just wasn’t a day of bang-bang. How Juventus did it is their luck. Napoli was just lucky to go home with 1-nil as well. AC Milan couldn’t even find the back of the net.

It’s not over guys… there’s so much to play for. Midweek holds another promise. We will see, we will cheer, we will love our Football. City is our team of the day. Guardiola won our crown and is our feature image.

 CHEERS EVERYONE…

We Love Football.
